HOW DO I TAKE A JAGUA ALLERGY TEST?
Although jagua is a product made from natural ingredients, it's not impossible to react to it. As mentioned in my previous article on allergic reactions to jagua, the base of this pigment comes from a Peruvian fruit, so it can cause skin reactions ranging from inflammation to itching, 10 to 14 days after application. That's why it's important to carry out an allergy test before getting involved in large-scale tattooing with jagua.

WHAT SHOULD I DO IF I HAVE AN ALLERGIC REACTION TO JAGUA?
A reaction to jagua is quite rare, but never impossible, so it's best to do a small skin test when trying jagua for the first time. Skin reactions can occur up to 10 to 14 days after application. It is therefore advisable to wait 2 weeks before applying large quantities to the body. Skin reactions can range from simple itching to water bells, as shown in the photos below. Although jagua is a natural product, it is never impossible to react to a foreign product.
